ATHENA'S EXILE

The intention was to use up old paint. I had no idea that sentinel tree spirits protecting a sacred space would emerge. I kept hearing, “This is Athena’s Exile.” Athena is the goddess of wisdom and war. You can see her etched in the rock. Humanity has forgotten the lessons of wisdom gained from history. With the white birds leading this person, they have come to free Athena. The medicine of ‘Athena’s Exile’ is that she holds the ancient knowledge and wisdom necessary to navigate our war-torn world.
